We’re Studio Slay!

A virtual dance, fitness, and artist development platform for those with and without disabilities

Mission Statement
Founded by Kaylee Bays “Slaylee”, Studio Slay’s mission is to empower people with disabilities to move, grow, and slay on their terms. We are a virtual studio committed to breaking barriers in fitness and wellness by offering accessible, inclusive, and adaptive movement experiences that celebrate every body. Through community, creativity, and unapologetic self-expression, we help our members build strength, confidence, and joy. Because slaying isn’t about fitting in, it’s about showing up as you are and owning it.

Dancer Of The Week: Meet Claudia!

Claudia, who performs under the stage name 'Wheely Sweet', is a New Zealand-based dancer. She began using a wheelchair at age 6 due to graft vs host disease side effects from previous cancer treatments. In 2024, she started pole dancing and soon joined Studio Slay, where learning from Kaylee has boosted her confidence and helped her embrace movement. Dancing has become a source of freedom, empowerment, and self-expression. She’s performed locally and is excited to grow as an artist. Since starting pole and dance with Studio Slay, she's finding out what she can do, rather than what she can't do. Outside of dance, Claudia writes for a mental health charity and enjoys time with her furbabies.
